On-call tipper truck driver

We are looking for an experienced on-call driver for busy periods and when our regular drivers are unavailable.

We understand that as a driver, you want to drive a clean, modern, and well-maintained truck. You also don't have to worry about your hours; with us, your hours are paid fairly. Will you join our team and drive one of our beautiful blue trucks?

What are you going to do?

As a tipper truck driver at the Theo Pouw Groep in Weert, you will transport large quantities of raw materials for civil engineering to customers or construction sites. You are the face of the Theo Pouw Groep and will have a lot of contact with customers and colleagues while performing your work. You will do this by:

• You drive materials to our customers (e.g., construction sites);
• You are responsible for daily maintenance and repairing minor faults on the tipper truck;
• You keep the vehicle clean.

What are we asking?

You strive to deliver goods to our customers on time. Changes to the schedule will sometimes occur, but thanks to your flexible approach, this is not a problem for you and you remain calm. You also bring with you:

• CE driver's license supplemented with valid code 95;
• At least 2 years of work experience as a tipper truck driver;
• Basic Safety Certificate (VCA) or willing to obtain it;
• Residing in the Weert region.

A zero-hour contract, where you are scheduled in consultation. We participate in the collective labor agreement for professional goods transport. This means you can also count on:

• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer, from 10 kilometers one way with a maximum of 50 kilometers per day;

At our site in Weert, we manage the intake and processing of contaminated soil and construction and demolition waste, and we take care of the storage and transshipment of raw materials. Our transport department also handles the transport of primary and secondary raw materials for ground, road, water, and concrete construction.
