Primary building materials
The Theo Pouw Groep has a storage capacity of 500,000 tons of primary building materials. Thanks to our extensive storage and transshipment system, we can deliver large quantities of building materials quickly and efficiently.
Thanks to this extensive inventory management and our modern storage and transshipment system, we are able to deliver large quantities of building materials quickly, efficiently, and reliably. Our primary building materials, including sand, gravel, and crushed stone, form the basis for countless projects in civil engineering, road construction, hydraulic engineering, and concrete construction. We supply materials for concrete mortar, foundations, asphalt production, and infrastructure applications, among other things.
Most of our primary building materials are delivered by ship. This reduces pressure on the road network and significantly cuts CO₂ emissions. Thanks to our strategic location on the water, we can deliver quickly and cost-effectively both within the region and beyond.
The current water levels can be found at:
Cologne Middle Rhine (minimum 2.21 meters)
Maxau Upper Rhine (minimum 4.51 meters)
Kaub Upper Rhine (minimum 1.81 meters)
