What are you going to do?

As a concrete plant operator, you are responsible for preparing the concrete mixes requested by customers and loading our concrete mixers. Your duties include:

• Operating the control center using a computer system;
• Preparing mixtures according to predetermined formulas;
• Loading concrete mixers;
• Performing simple repair work;
• Keeping the concrete plant clean to ensure a clean and tidy work environment.

What are we asking?

You are proactive, which means you quickly get the hang of the process with the right guidance. You have strong communication skills. You also bring the following:

• Technical insight;
• Experience with computers;
• Driver's license B.

What do we offer?

A contract for 40 hours per week for 7 months with the prospect of permanent employment. In addition, you can count on:

• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer, from 10 kilometers one way with a maximum of 50 kilometers per day;

Who are we?

Our Groningen location is home to one of our modern concrete plants. Here, you’ll work alongside a close-knit and friendly team of about 8 colleagues. From this location, we supply ready-mix concrete to clients in the region. We’re proud of our green concrete, which consists of at least 30% recycled concrete aggregate. We transport the concrete to our clients using our own concrete mixers. In addition to Groningen, the Theo Pouw Group also has concrete plants in Utrecht, Almere, and Eemshaven.
