Are you looking for a new challenge in the hospitality industry, but don’t want to be tied down by the irregular work hours that are common in this sector? We’re looking for an all-around employee for our modern company restaurant in Utrecht. You’ll be part of a close-knit and friendly team and work in a well-equipped kitchen where quality and freshness are our top priorities.

What are you going to do?

Together with three colleagues, you’ll prepare fresh and delicious lunches every day, which our colleagues and guests can easily order online or through our ordering kiosk. You’ll also help keep the kitchen organized and clean, because a tidy work environment is the foundation of any good kitchen. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and setting out ingredients in a timely manner according to the schedule;
• Careful and hygienic preparation of lunch dishes;
• Keeping the kitchen clean and organized.

Working hours are between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Workdays are to be determined by mutual agreement, with Thursday and Friday being fixed workdays. In addition, there are mandatory vacation periods during the construction industry vacation and the Christmas break.

What do we offer?

A contract for 28–30 hours per week for 7 months, with the possibility of a permanent position. We are covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement for Professional Freight Transport. In addition, you can count on:

• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer, from 10 kilometers one way with a maximum of 50 kilometers per day;

Our location in Utrecht is a one-stop shop offering products and services for ground, road, water, and concrete construction, from primary raw materials and secondary building materials to the processing of construction and demolition waste, soil cleaning, and the deployment of transport equipment, cranes, and shovels. In addition to producing high-quality concrete, we also coordinate the transport of building materials and manage the collection and processing of contaminated soil, construction and demolition waste. The operational processes are supported by various departments such as Sales, Environment, Transport Planning, QHSE, Finance, IT, HR, and PR. You will work in close-knit teams in the relevant department in a workplace with modern equipment. Our head office has a company restaurant and charging points for cars and bicycles.
